Here are 3 yoga poses that you can do together to increase your libido and get you both in the mood for a little time between the sheets!
- Cat Stretch. This pose is super easy to do! On your hands and knees, you arch your back inward and outward for a 10 count, holding in each direction for another 5-10 count, as you like and is comfortable. This stretch is great for not only getting in touch with your body, but for women in particular, it helps to strengthen and lengthen your kegel and pelvic floor muscles!
- Bound Angle. This is really easy to do as well and helps increase your range of motion. To do the pose, you simply sit on the floor with your knees bent (like cross leg style) only instead of crossing your legs, you put the bottoms of your feet together and let your legs fall on either side of you. Arch your back over your legs if you’re flexible enough for even more of a stretch. This will help increase your flexibility, especially in the groin area so you can try some of the more intermediate/difficult sex positions.
- Wide Legged Straddle Pose. This is another sitting pose, though it’s a bit more difficult than the other 2 poses. You open your legs while sitting on the floor and reach out and try to touch your feet. This puts you in touch with your body, stretches groin and hip muscles for greater range of motion, and also improves blood flow to your pelvic area which will naturally help improve low libido.
